OK, I'm back! Now, about those resolutions...

Hi everyone;

Please accept my sincere apology for neglecting this blog. I've been quite sick, but am on the mend. The good thing about being sick is how GREAT you feel when you get well!! And, it makes me remember that I am a human being, not a machine. I need to practice what I preach.

So... back to eating well, drinking enough water, getting enough sleep, exercising and chilling out time!!

It is my fondest hope that you all had a very merry Christmas! And... may all your New Year's resolutions "take"!

By the way... do make at least one. You are less likely to reach a goal you don't set. What is the most important change you need to make in your life? In your musical endeavors? In matters of your health? In finding time for connecting to family and friends and God? In setting your business and personal priorities? Like I used to tell my son; when looking at what seems an overwhelming task (like cleaning his room!!) then just pick up the sock next to you and go from there. Set that goal, then set some strategies and tactics for accomplishing the goal.

My love goes out to you all... Have a safe, joyful, prosperous Happy New Year!!

    Judy,

    I came across your blog by accident and glad that I did. I wanted to say that your session vocals along with Ellen Dockery on an old gospel CD were the absolute best. The song was "I See A Crimson Stream" on a CD called, Memories. That is one of "the" best songs ever and your contribution to that song could never be beat by anyone. That song has gotten me through some rough times. Thanks for the great vocals you did on an album that spans 25 years!

    All the best,

    Randy

    I usually go through every drawer, and start chucking overything I don't need/want onto the floor. And the stuff I need/want, goes back where it was, but in a neater fashion. Then when I'm done with that, I take a garbage bag and sit in the middle of the floor and pick up the stuff I don't need. But of course, I always have the radio on, or CD or whatever. Which brings me to say, I LOVE your voice! And listen to your albums quite often. Hope you are feeling better, and hope you have a Happy New Year!

    Dear Randy and Bluesy...

    Thanks so much for the sweet words about my work as a vocalist. Means the world to me.

    And Bluesy... you've given me a great idea about those drawers... I bet others find that very helpful in clearing out the old so the new can come in! Thank you for the idea.

    I've never told anyone about that idea before, but hey, maybe I started a trend. Glad you liked it!
